Tacos, Tequila, Whiskey: $
When it comes to Mexican food, few places north of the border do it better than Colorado. This place is a bit more of an americanized version of street tacos, but fantastic! Our favorites are the Pollo agave tacos, pescado tacos, and tres leches for dessert. There are two locations so check out whatever one is closest!

Uncle: $$
When you see a line of people outside the restaurant, you know it’s a good place to try. Uncle is one of the busiest spots in Denver, so be ready to wait an hour or so for a table. What’s the hype about? Killer ramen dishes. Yes, the 99 cent noodles you ate as a kid. They’ve put a premium, Asian-inspired spin on ramen cuisine and it’s AMAZING. The spicy chicken and pork belly are personal favorites. If you’re into sake they have an incredible selection as well!

Linger: $$
If you asked around, this would likely be considered the flagship restaurant in Denver. Originally recommended by my sister, Heather (thanks Heathaaaa!) this was also Tayler and I’s first date. All plates are tapas style, so the small size will catch you off guard, but the flavor is incredible. The devils on horseback is our personal favorite. If you can, try to make their happy hour if you can for better deals!

Cuba Cuba: $$
Tayler and I have been here more times than we can count. The lechon (pork) wrap and mahi mahi are delicious. Very authentic taste and friendly service.

Cho 77: $$
The sister restaurant to one of the top rated restaurants in Denver for over a decade (ChoLon Bistro), this vietnamese street-food inspired spot is not one to miss. From the vietnamese style chicken wings to the coconut chicken curry you won’t be disappointed.

Park Burger $
If you’re looking for a great burger and beer selection, this is your place. There are a few locations so keep an eye out for one close by. Probably one of the best burgers in Denver.

Williams & Graham: $$
This place has won more awards than I can count. One named them the best bar in America...and for good reason. This speakeasy style bar is known for their blackberry sage smash, but no cocktail will disappoint!

New Terrain Brewery: $
Across the street from the legendary Coors brewery, this is the new hot spot for mountain bikers and hikers alike. Their brews are KILLER and the place is always lively. On Thursdays have a bluegrass band. Personal favorites are the Golden Haze or Rambler.
