Our Story

It all started in November of 2011

By total coincidence, David picked up a last-minute Saturday night bar booth shift at a restaurant he was working at during college. In true O'Dea fashion, Tayler and her parents showed up about 15 minutes to close. David and Tayler got to talking. They both had Great Danes, snowboarded and loved the same music... David spent the rest of the night conspiring with the bartenders about how to ask for her number in front of her dad. When he did ask, he sorta made it seem like he was asking for Celeste's (Tayler's mom) out of mistake and nerves. Couldn't have turned out more awkward... Tayler finally chimed in and clarified for David (as she still does..haha) and exchanged her number. Joe (her dad) also didn't punch David in the face for asking, which was good. It's funny how things work out when you just ask. You never know what will come of it.

David Joseph Freund

A man of many talents, David holds a strong love for bikes, snowboarding, playing the guitar and cooking. He is the fourth of five children (3 sisters & 1 brother), of Dawn and Dave Freund. He received his father's genes when it comes to overthinking, being able to fix just about anything and talking to strangers for way too long. He graduated from University of Colorado with a Bachelor's in Marketing and is a Partner at Junto, a Digital Marketing Agency.

tayler marie O'Dea

As an only child, Celeste (Mother) and Joseph (Father), made sure to take Tayler everywhere, even a Grateful Dead Concert at the age of 3. As she grew, she learned how to get in trouble, have the best parties and still manage to get into college with a 1.2 GPA from Mullen. But those art classes paid off. She graduated from the CU with a Masters in Architecture, honors and today practices both Graphic Design, Web and 3D modeling for a tech startup called Engine. She does all of this while managing the chaos her other projects have to offer, such as designing a duplex, an event venue (Ironworks ;) and running a Digital Computer Arts Magazine.

GroomsMEN

Andrew Waytashek

David and Andrew met at Parker skatepark nearly a decade ago. Known for lighting up the room wherever he goes, Andrew radiates positive energy and love towards everyone he meets. When he's not riding a bike you can catch him juggling fire torches, exploring uncharted caves or groovin' at a music festival.

Connor Martinek

If Goodwill Hunting had a laid-back brother, it would be Connor. Well, maybe not. But David was terrible at math and Connor was the only reason he passed college calculus. A man of many nicknames and even more adventurous tales, Connor is a Coloradoan in the truest sense. Born and raised in Golden, Colorado, when he's not drinking free beers at one of his 300+ visits to the Coors brewery tour, you can find him exploring by land or sea.

Thomas Raville

Thomas and David met at a previous marketing job where they sat across from one another pretending to work, but really were just watching mountain bike videos. He's a smooth-talkin' Georgia boy who has a knack for story telling and killer impressions. When he's not working on the latest home project, you can catch him sipping a craft beer after a long mountain bike ride.

Cody Freund

Cody is the baby brother, best man, and #1 reason for any trouble David has ever gotten into. Cody and David have a long history of unintentionally blowing things up, playing evil pranks on their father, and all around jackassery. As a new resident to Colorado, when Cody isn't spending time with his wife Katrina and kitty named Pumpkin, you'll find him exploring all that the state has to offer.

Jeff Miley

David and Jeff have a long history of riding bikes and causing mayhem wherever they go. Despite all of that, they met in the least badass way possible. David's family was giving away free kittens and Jeff came by to pick one up. When Jeff isn't spending time with his wife and 2 kiddos you can find him jumping massive dirt jumps on his bike or fixing up his latest garage project.

BridesMaids

Katie Iseman

Katie and Tayler met at Mullen High school with the gang! Shes a friend that likes to get in trouble with Tayler, always conjuring up either game nights, happy hours and by far, Tayler's best beer-pong partner. Katie, Gina and Tayler all roomed together in College and had many nights cooking Chinese soup.

Molly Mitchell

Tayler met Molly in her backyard that they shared together in elementary school. Knowing Molly for that longs means that they had a lot of time to get in trouble together! And that, they did. When the two of them get together you know its going to be a good time! Molly is one of Tayler's longest and dearest friends and forever neighbor.

Bianca Rose Larsen

Bianca, "Rose" is Tayler's cousin but more like her sister. Growing up as an only child, Rose acted much like Tayler's big sister, feeding her crickets in the pet store and always getting in trouble together. Rose is Tayler's Maid of Honor and forever best friend since the age of 2 weeks.

Gina Nygren

If anyone asks Tayler who is in charge, she says "Gina!" - She has helped Tayler get through most of anything from math class to driving the girls to movies at AMC or those crazy Friday-night football games to being the best roommate in college. Her life wouldn't be the same without G Money.

Correne Knollenberg

Correne is Tayler's most adventurous friend and someone she can always count on to go camping, hiking, or a good time at Red Rocks! Tayler and Correne met during high school and one of her closets friends throughout college.
