It all started in November of 2011
By total coincidence, David picked up a last-minute Saturday night bar booth shift at a restaurant he was working at during college. In true O'Dea fashion, Tayler and her parents showed up about 15 minutes to close. David and Tayler got to talking. They both had Great Danes, snowboarded and loved the same music... David spent the rest of the night conspiring with the bartenders about how to ask for her number in front of her dad. When he did ask, he sorta made it seem like he was asking for Celeste's (Tayler's mom) out of mistake and nerves. Couldn't have turned out more awkward... Tayler finally chimed in and clarified for David (as she still does..haha) and exchanged her number. Joe (her dad) also didn't punch David in the face for asking, which was good. It's funny how things work out when you just ask. You never know what will come of it.
A man of many talents, David holds a strong love for bikes, snowboarding, playing the guitar and cooking. He is the fourth of five children (3 sisters & 1 brother), of Dawn and Dave Freund. He received his father's genes when it comes to overthinking, being able to fix just about anything and talking to strangers for way too long. He graduated from University of Colorado with a Bachelor's in Marketing and is a Partner at Junto, a Digital Marketing Agency.
As an only child, Celeste (Mother) and Joseph (Father), made sure to take Tayler everywhere, even a Grateful Dead Concert at the age of 3. As she grew, she learned how to get in trouble, have the best parties and still manage to get into college with a 1.2 GPA from Mullen. But those art classes paid off. She graduated from the CU with a Masters in Architecture, honors and today practices both Graphic Design, Web and 3D modeling for a tech startup called Engine. She does all of this while managing the chaos her other projects have to offer, such as designing a duplex, an event venue (Ironworks ;) and running a Digital Computer Arts Magazine.
